Eileen Frances Triber, age 66, formerly of Sandy Hook, CT, the beloved wife of Julius "Buddy" Triber passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Cape Cod. Born in Bridgeport to the late Joseph G. and Eileen (Cullen) Knapick she was a life long area resident until moving to Clearwater Florida 10 years ago. Eileen lived in Florida but loved to spend her summers in their home in East Sandwich on the Cape. In her heart she was always a teacher and she retired from the Trumbull School System where she was an educator for 35 years. In addition to her beloved husband of 44 years she is survived by her son, Julian Triber, sisters, Jane Osborne, Nancy Giacomozzi and Patricia Knapick, a brother James Knapick and several cousins nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 9:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-7 pm.
