Eileen R. Moore, age 72, of Seymour, passed away on November 23, 2021, in Danbury Hospital. Eileen was born in Bridgeport on June 17, 1949, to the late Chester and Sophie (Muzin) Rupar and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Harding High School class of 1967 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Connecticut State University. Eileen was a retired teacher for Stratford and Shelton school systems.

Survivors include her three beloved children, Kelley (Kendall) Kokosa and her husband Scott of Trumbull, Kristen Feiges and her husband Jonathan of Colorado, and Dennis Moore of Arizona, as well as five cherished grandchildren, Katarina, John, and Alexander Kendall, and Ike and Cy Feiges, a sister, Sandra A. Neri of Pennsylvania, brothers Allen C. Rupar of North Carolina and David R. Rupar of Stratford as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eileen was pre-deceased by her longtime companion, James Burt.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, December 10 ^th from 10-11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m and inurnment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Eileen's memory to the local charity of one's choice.
