Efstratios "Stratty" Chocas, age 79 of The Villages in Florida formerly of Milford, died Tuesday January 30, 2007 in Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg Florida. Born in Stamford to the late Nicholas and Yanoula Anagnostopoulos Chocas, he resided most of his life in Stamford, living in Milford for 9 years and then moved to The Villages in Florida 5 years ago. He is the widower of Gloria Yannotti Chocas and was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. Stratty retired from Bunker Ramo where he was a customer service manager. He was an avid golfer bowler and card player. Survivors include three daughters; Patricia Falzone and her husband John of Stratford, Karen Charpentier of Trumbull and Laurie Murphy and her husband Thomas of Shelton; two sisters Lulu Salmas and her husband Guy of Oakley, CA and Helen Rudomanski of Columbia, MD; six grandchildren: Michael, Kelsey, Nicole, Patrick, Natalie and Ryan; several nieces and nephews. A brother Stephen Chocas preceded him in death. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 9:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10:00 am in St Mark's RC Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford with Full Military Honors to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Heart Association 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 4-8 pm.
