Edward A. Witt, age 96, of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Ruth Polson Witt, passed away on January 11, 2022, in his home.

Ed was born in Bridgeport on March 4, 1925, to the late Frank and Barbara (Devore) Witt and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a WW II veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired driver for Kurt Volk Printing Co.

Survivors include his devoted son, Edward Witt and his wife Laura, grandchildren, Heidi Biglin (Mike), Taylor Witt (Rosalie), and Kersten Witt (Jennifer), a great-grandson, Silas, and brother, Frank Witt.

Funeral services and interment with full military honors are private.
