Edward P. Swatt age 75 of Ansonia formerly of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday September 23, 2010 in Griffin Hospital. Mr. Swatt, a retired-Electrical Engineer for I.B.M was born in Bridgeport to the late Mike and Anna (Mihalko) Swatt and has been a life long area resident. He was a graduate of Harding High School, the University of Connecticut and received his MS in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. Survivors include 2 brothers John Swatt Sr. and his wife Lois of Florida and Michael Swatt of New Hampshire, nieces and nephews Ronald Swatt and his wife Theresa of Ansonia, John Swatt Jr and his wife Julie of Wolcott, Annette Swatt of MD and Gary Swatt of Shelton, a special great-niece Theresa and several other great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday September 28th at 9:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, for a Requiem Funeral Service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford.
