Edward R. Cholewinski Jr., age 71, of Stratford, passed away in his home on May 19, 2026.

 Ed was born in Bridgeport on August 7, 1954, to the late Edward and Mary Ann (Grazul) Cholewinski Sr., and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Bunnell High School, class of 1972, and was the former proprietor of Ed’s Mobil Service Center, 516 Boston Post Road Milford from 1981-1997. 

Survivors include his devoted brothers, Gary Cholewinski and his wife Nancy of Florida, Mark Cholewinski and his wife Kim of Milford, and his cherished nieces, Kara, Camille and Ashley. In addition to his parents, Ed was pre-deceased by his brothers, Jeffrey and David. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. meeting directly at St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery; Trumbull.
