Edward Boucher, age 83 of Bridgeport the beloved husband of the late Sophie Mester, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Civitas Care Center.

Born in Bridgeport on May 5, 1940, to the late Edward and Mary (Andrews) Boucher. Ed is a PROUD Bridgeporter who loved the city and was proud to be here his entire life. He was a member of the former Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church in Bridgeport and the Black Rock Fife and Drum Corps.

Ed worked for Sprague Meter Company and Hubbell of Bridgeport and later became a CNA working with companions and homemakers, a job he truly enjoyed.

In addition to his beloved wife Sophie, Ed is pre-deceased by, a son, David, a sister, Shirley and a brother, Robert, grandchildren, Drew Edward Dorflinger and Charlie Ferrando.

Survivors include his children, Edward Jr, Stephen Boucher and his companion Babette, Vinnie Boucher and wife Debbie, Matthew Boucher and Robert McGhee, Anthony Boucher and wife Sandra, Anna Dorflinger and husband Drew, grandchildren, Nicholas, Sophie, Sylvie, Anthony, Joseph and Kyle, a brother, Ronnie, sisters, Pat, Lee, and Joyce, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the doctors and care givers at Bridgeport Hospital and Dr. Kelli Donovan Wright for the amazing care they showed Ed.

Funeral services will be private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford.
