Edward M. Bednarski, age 93, of Stratford, CT, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Carriage Greens in Milford. Born In Bridgeport to the late Charles and Eleanor (Oleski) Bednarski, he has been a lifelong area resident. Ed loved dogs but his true passion was his love for music. He was part of the Frank Porto Band for 25 years. where he played the saxophone, clarinet, flute and was an arranger. Survivors include his devoted daughter, Susan Salomone of Stratford, 3 cherished grandchildren, Matthew, David and Emily Salomone, a stepdaughter, Kathleen (Kitty) Grant Moore, a nephew, Richard Ambrose and 2 nieces, Joann Strovers and Nancy Keller. In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his wives, Marion Cavalieri and Barbara Gwara, a brother, Eugene Bednarski and a sister, Jean Ambrose.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 3-7 pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, CT. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, December 15th at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Polish Nation Church Lordship. Interment with full military honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
