– Easter-Mae McCormick "PENNY" Carlson, age 62 of Bridgeport passed away on Thursday July 27, 2006 in St. Vincent's Medical Center Bridgeport. Mrs. Carlson, an Inspector for the Lord Corporation, was born in Bridgeport daughter of the late William McCormick II and Genevieve Lind McCormick and has been a life long area resident. Survivors include her beloved children Sherriann Hagedorn and her husband Walt of Milford, Linda DiNuzzo and her husband Anthony of West Haven, Ricky Carlson and his fiancé Ronnet of West Haven, Heather Carlson of Bridgeport, Carl Carlson and his wife Agnes of Ohio, 6 cherished grandchildren Derek and Brittany Hagedorn, Christine Kent, Casey Di Nuzzo, Michael and Amanda Carlson, 1 great-grandson Damien Carlson, 2 brothers Carl McCormick and his wife Carol and Bill McCormick III all of Stratford, a sister Marie-Ann O'Brien of HI and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Tammy Ann Carlson, a sister Genevieve Andrews and her godson William McCormick IV. Graveside funeral services will take place on Tuesday August 1st a t 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joan Sorenson officiating in Beaverdale Memorial Park 90 Pine Rock Ave New Haven. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
