Douglas James White, age 56, of Stratford, the beloved widower of Patricia Ann Huly, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 in the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Jackson Heights, NY to James and Anne (Hammond) White, he graduated from Pequannock Township High School, MIT with his Bachelor's Degree and the University of Michigan with his Master's Degree. Doug has been a resident of Stratford since 1986. He is survived by his children, Gemma and Armando White of Stratford, his parents, Jim and Anne White of The Villages, FL, his sister, Lisa Miller and her husband Burton of Plantation, FL, his father and mother-in-law, Bill and Janet Huly of Delray Beach, FL, his sister-in-law Anne Marie Huly of Bridgeport, nephew and nieces, Benjamin, Marcela and Cristina Lopez and his best friend of 40+ years Steve Dooley of Deland, FL. A celebration of Doug's life will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 4-7pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Inurnment will be private in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford.
