Dorothy Evelyn Weaver, age 83, of Milford, the beloved wife of Robert Weaver Sr passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Stratford to the late John and Julia (Kamenicky) Fedorko, she has been a Stratford resident for 81 years before moving to Milford 2 years ago. She was a lifelong member of the Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist in Bridgeport and member of the Mothers and Daughters club of St. John's Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Throughout her life, Dorothy's first priority was taking care of her family, which she did with the utmost love and care. She was a wonderful cook and passed on her love of ethnic cooking to her daughters. Survivors in addition to her husband of 60 years are her devoted children: Robert Weaver Jr and his wife Diane of Oxford, Catherine Talone of Milford and Cynthia Maltais of Milford; her cherished grandchildren: Julie Moore and her husband Jeremy, Matthew Talone, Jennifer Weaver, Kyle Weaver, Zachary Maltais and Luke Maltais: her little sweetheart and great-granddaughter Emily Catherine Moore; a brother John Fedorko of Stratford; sister-in-laws Helen Fedorko of Trumbull (who was her best friend and maid of honor) and Mildred Fedorko of Stratford, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Roy and Geraldine Weaver of Ansonia and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 brothers Michael, Baby John, Stephen, Andrew, William and 4 sisters: Mary Gabrys, Julia Kravec, Margaret Jankura and Elizabeth Fuchs. Funeral services will take place on Monday January 3, 2011 at 9:15 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 am in St. John's Church 384 Mill Hill Ave Bridgeport with a Requiem Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Monroe. Friends may call on Sunday from 4-7 pm Panachida will be at 6:30 pm
