Dorothy I. Tomasco, age 77, of Derby, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, in her home.

Dorothy was born in Bridgeport on April 17, 1946, to the late Paul and Anna (Kuruc) Tomasco and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School and was a retired paralegal.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Elsa and Annette Tomasco, nieces and nephews, David (Nancy) Tomasco, Allan (Jean) Tomasco, Raymond (Christina) Tomasco Jr., Julianne (Roman) Sckoda, Denise (Michael) Plude, Michael and Richard Tomasco, and several great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was pre-deceased by her brothers, Matthew and his wife Anita, and Robert and Raymond.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, August 18th from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church 500 Wigwam Lane Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford
