Dorothy and John retired in 1985 and enjoyed traveling across the country in their Pace Arrow with members of the SNET Pioneers Club.  They made many lasting friendships along the way.  They settled in Ft. Pierce, FL at Spanish Lakes, until John's untimely death in 1987. Dorothy remained active by golfing and playing tennis well into her late 70's.  In 1990 Dorothy married Frank N. Piecka and they divided their time between Ft. Pierce and Bridgeport, until his death in 2008.
