Dorothy A. Moscato, age 92, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Peter Moscato, passed away on April 17, 2023, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.

Dorothy was born in Hempstead, Long Island, NY on July 27, 1930, to the late Laroy and Stella (Lipka) Morter and had been a longtime area resident. She was a retired secretary for the Office of Dr. Donald Austrian.

Survivors include her devoted children, Jeffrey Heidtmann and his wife Lisa of Mansfield, Douglas Heidtmann and his wife Mary Luz of West Haven, Lisa Heidtmann of New Orleans, and Lori Heidtmann of Westport, 5 cherished grandchildren, Troy, Ashley, Mary Luz, Haley and Dorothy, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Heidtmann, brother, Laroy and sister, Lucille.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, April 21 ^st from 3-6 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

A graveside service will take place on Monday, April 24 ^th at 12 noon directly at State Veteran's Cemetery, Bow Lane Middletown.
