Dorothy A. Kuzmich, age 93, of Shelton, the beloved widow of Dimitri M. Kuzmich passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in Bridgeport Hospital. She was born on December 1, 1929 in Taylor, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and Anna (Onofrey) Ciesielski where she developed a lifelong love of roller skating. After Dorothy and her family moved to Bridgeport she graduated from Harding High School, was married to the love of her life Dimitri (Dee), and enjoyed working at the Bridgeport Brass Company before she left to raise her family in Trumbull.

She is survived by her devoted children, Robert Kuzmich and his wife Jill of Stratford and Kathy Ann Reynolds of North Carolina along with her cherished grandchildren, Andrew (Melissa), Rebecca (Adarsh), and Joshua.  She welcomed her first great-grandchild, Charlotte in December 2022.  She also leaves a devoted brother, Edward Ciesielski of Trumbull, along with nieces and nephews, Eddie, Karen, Kenny and Kristen and their families.  She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Ciesielski, and sisters-in-law, Jean and Marion Ciesielski, along with son-in-law, William Reynolds.

Dorothy was lovingly cared for by the staff at Crosby Commons and Wesley Heights in Shelton for which we will be forever grateful. We would also like to thank the Doctors and Nurses on Bridgeport Hospital Northeast 8 floor for the compassionate care for Dorothy and family.

Final services will be private per Dorothy's wishes.  The Adzima Funeral home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
