Dorothy Kasper Kopko, age 94, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Michael Kopko, passed away on February 29, 2024.

Dorothy was born in Bridgeport on September 30, 1929, to the late Michael and Mary (Jankura) Kasper and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a retired secretary for Foundations East Inc.; and was an active member of Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church, where she was a member of the choir and was a reader.

Survivors include her devoted sons, Michael Kopko and his wife Pamela of Newington, Gregory Kopko of Tennessee, and Gerald Kopko and his wife Elizabeth of Stratford, 3 cherished granddaughters, Lauren of Stratford, Sarah (John) Kozak of Orange, and Katie (Michael) Lozanov of Derby, great-grandson, Logan Kozak, sister, Melania (Edward) Moyher of Stratford, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her beloved husband of 51 years, Michael and her parents, Dorothy was pre-deceased by her 5-year-old son, Thomas, and sister, Nancy Savisky.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 5th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Panikhida at 4:30 p.m.

A Requiem Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Ghost Russian Orthodox Church 1510 East Main Street Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
