Dorothy M. Huchko, age 85 of Stratford passed away of Tuesday August 31, 2010 in her home. Dorothy a retired assembler for the General Electric Company with 58 years of service, was born in Bridgeport to the late Andrew and Mary (Velky) Huchko and has been a life long area resident. She was an avid BINGO player and was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club. Survivors include her devoted sister Elinor Haug, a nephew Jim Haug, a niece Mary Lanese and her husband Tom, all of Stratford, 4 great nephews Robert Bourque of Stratford, Joseph and Jeffrey Haug of NC, James Parent of NY and a great-niece Jacqueline Capwell of NC. Funeral services will take place on Friday September 3rd at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday (TODAY) from 4-7 p.m.
