Dorothy Baker, age 87, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Francis R. Baker, passed away on February 1, 2021 at Middlebrook Farms at Trumbull.

Dorothy was born in Bridgeport on August 20, 1933 to the late Joseph and Katherine (Bensko) Blaner and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a retired Real Estate Broker for Pizone Realty Company.

Survivors include her devoted son, Robert Baker and his wife Rose of Shelton, her cherished grandchildren, Joyce Croteau and her husband Al, Thomas LaConte (Joe Leck), and Jennifer Justo (Alex Hatzikostas), great-grandchildren, Hunter and Riley Croteau, Olivia LaConte, Adriana Justo and Leo Hatzikostas, step-granddaughter, Heather Kovac and her daughter, Jenisse. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Dorothy was pre-deceased by her daughter, Robin Santiago and her husband, Joseph, and sisters, Barbara Blatchley, and Kathleen Bender.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 4 ^th at 11 a.m. in St. John's Cemetery 2610 Nichols Avenue Stratford. Everyone in attendance must follow Covid19 guidelines; wear a mask and practice social distancing.
