Doris Lacombe Lamoureux, age 77 of Stratford, the widow of Jean A. Lamoureux died Sunday, November 12, 2006 in her home. Born in Boston, MA to the late Emile and Anna Deschenes Lacombe, she has resided in Stratford for the past 48 years. She was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Women's Guild, a past Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader. She was an avid bowler and camper who loved to cook and garden. She was a Retired clerk with Grants Department Store. Survivors include 2 sons: Paul Lamoureux and his wife Marsha of Davenport, Iowa, and David Lamoureux of Stratford; a daughter Diane Vannucci and her husband Peter of New Fairfield; 7 grandchildren: Laura and Andrew Vannucci, Ruth, Katie and Christopher Lamoureux and Tiffany and Chuck DeClercq; 1 great-granddaughter Baylie DeClercq; 2 brothers: Robert Lacombe and Emile Lacombe of Dracut, MA; 2 sisters: Lorraine Gendron and her husband Paul of Westford, MA and Joan Paquin and her husband Ray of Tewksbury, MA; an aunt Claire Leavitt of Lowell, MA; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Raymond Lacombe. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 9:00 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm.
