Doreen D. Ashe, age 71 of Stratford, a retired executive secretary with St. Vincent's Medical Center passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 in St. Vincent's with her family by her side.

Born in Manchester, New Hampshire on July 1, 1953 to the late Roland and Yvette (Brochu) Daneault.  She was a graduate of Guilford High School and Leicester Junior College (now Becker College), she lived briefly in Germany and Colorado before settling in Stratford and becoming a long-time area resident.

Survivors include her devoted daughter, Nicole LaConte and her husband John, a sister, Renee Meskill and her husband (Matt), a brother, David Daneault and his wife Doreen, a grandson who was the light of her life, her "petit garçon" John T. LaConte, sister-in-law, Robin Daneault, brother-in-law, Peter Corcoran and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her brother, Dennis Daneault and sister, Trudy Corcoran.

All Service are private and the Adzima Funeral Home Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
