Donna Lee, as she liked to be called, left this life unexpectedly at Bridgeport Hospital on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017. Donna was born in Bridgeport and lived also in Tampa, Fl., for a number of years, before moving back to Stratford Ct. Donna was most recently a client at St. Vincent's Special Needs in Stratford. Donna loved to go shopping for herself but especially loved to eat out in restaurants and enjoy seafood. She enjoyed traveling, going to different places and every summer couldn't wait to go to Camp Hemlocks in Hebron, Ct. The staff just adored her. For the past 14 years, her most faithful companion had been her dog "Kayla" whom she adored and loved. They were inseparable. Donna will be sadly missed by all that ever had contact with her as she was an infectious, loving human being, that brought you both laughter and tears. Donna is predeceased by her biological father, James H. Goddu. In addition to her brother, James S. (Stephanie), aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces, Donna will be most sadly missed by her mother Barbara, and David Plavcan who had attended to her every need for many, many years. Donna would always tell her mother, "I love you mom, so very, very much", and worry about her when she got sick. Well Donna, we both loved you so very, very much and you will always have a place in our hearts. Friends may greet her family on Thursday, November 16
