Donald G. Schilling, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Elizabeth Louis Schilling, passed away on February 21, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Don was born in Bridgeport on May 3, 1935 to the late William and Amelia (Wright) Schilling and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Harding High School and was a retired foreman for Johnson's Nursery of Fairfield.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 62 years, include his devoted children, David Schilling, Patricia Kilburn, Michael Schilling and his wife Denise all of Bridgeport, Paul Schilling of Kentucky, Robert Schilling of Bridgeport, Donald Schilling of Seymour, and Kathleen Moreno and her husband Paul of Fairfield, 10 cherished grandchildren, Eric Kilburn, Jimmy, Jeffrey, Hannah, Kyle, Emma, Samantha, and Tabitha Schilling, and Jack and Marc Moreno, sisters-in-law, Joan Louis, and Ann Louis, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Don was pre- deceased by his brother, William Schilling and his wife Susan, brother-in-law, Robert Louis, and son-in-law, Dennis Kilburn.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, February 25 ^th at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. John's Cemetery 2610 Nichols Avenue, Stratford. Everyone in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home-Stratford.
