Donald S. Luzetsky, age 70, of Stratford, passed away on January 27, 2021.  Born in Bridgeport on September 23, 1950, Don was the son of the late Charles and Gladys (Fleischman) Luzetsky and had been a lifelong Stratford resident. Don fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed peacefully at home, with his beloved partner, Theresa Benedetto at his side.  He was a graduate of Bunnell High School class of 1968.  Upon graduation, Don was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he proudly served in the 4th Infantry Division, attaining the rank of Sgt. E5 during the Viet Nam War.  After the war, Don returned to work for General Electric Supply Co., while earning his BS in Business from the University of Bridgeport, an accomplishment of which he was very proud.  Don retired from GESCO after over 40 years, serving as outside sales representative.  In addition to Theresa, Don is survived by his devoted siblings, Charles D. Luzetsky of Milford, and Ann M. Clements of Round Rock, Texas,  nephew, Christopher Clements and his wife Kim, niece, Carolyn Lofgren and her husband Josh, along with his great nieces and nephews, Audrey and Andrew Clements and Chase and Claire Lofgren.  Don was pre-deceased by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Luzetsky and brother-in-law, Douglas Clements.    Those that knew Don will attest to his sarcastic wit, his quiet intelligence, his mechanical ability, his strong family values, his heart of GOLD, and most recently, as a tireless warrior of cancer.  In memory of Don, please donate to your favorite veteran's charity.  Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services and interment in St John's Cemetery Stratford are private and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
