Donald "Donnie" Dempkowski, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT, before moving to Nalcrest, Florida passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Lake Wales Medical Center, Florida.

He was born on November 11, 1952, and was the most devoted son to the late Margaret (Hanish) Dempkowski and Donald Dempkowski. Donnie was pre-deceased by his sister, Valerie. He was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 25 years. Don loved to cook, often telling family and friends his secret recipes. He loved gardening and traveling, just returning home from an Alaskan cruise in September. Don will be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include his beloved aunts, Emma LaProvidenza and Madeline Bredice (Raymond), many cousins as well as his friends of the Nalcrest Community of Florida, where Don spent the last eight years of his life.

Visitation on Monday, November 20th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
