Donald P. Caterson, age 96, of Monroe, beloved husband of the late Louise Swanhall Caterson, passed away on December 25, 2025. 

Don was born in Hartford on April 4, 1929, to the late Victor and Ebba (Ogren) Caterson and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Bassick High School and retired Tool & Die maker from Blase Manufacturing Co. 

Don is survived by his devoted children, Diane Linderbeck (Kevin), Vicki Pellino (Tony), Cathy Caterson, Richard Caterson (Mabell), Donald Caterson (Jill), daugher in law, Bonnie Caterson, 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a long list of very special friends. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, Don was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Walker (Greg) and brother, Robert Caterson.

 Visitation on Friday, January 16th from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. All other services will be private.
