Domiano (Dominick) Murolo, age 70, of Stratford, beloved husband of Patricia Pisano Murolo, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Dominick was born in Bari, Italy on September 9, 1953, to the late Domenico and Maria (Sciancalepore) Murolo. After high school Dominick became a plumber, then had a career as an engineer with the Bullard Company in Bridgeport. From there he started "Dominick's Cleaning Service", a successful commercial cleaning business from 1984-2009. Dominick was a hard worker, usually having two jobs at once.  He recently retired as head custodian at Frenchtown Elementary School in Trumbull, a place where he was well respected and truly enjoyed working.

Dominick was a very knowledgeable man. He could fix just about anything. He was well versed in almost all topics from finance, to politics, to anything in between. He enjoyed going to the casino a few times a year, tinkering in the basement, and driving his Cadillac.  But Dominick most valued spending quality time with family.

Dominick will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 48 years and his children, Mary-ann Madera and her husband Tom of Hamden, Michelle Murolo of Milford, Dominick Murolo of Stratford and Jennifer Murolo of Milford.  Survivors also include brothers, Vincent (Linda) Murolo of Southbury, Pasquale (Virginia) Murolo of Florida, Gaetano Murolo of Florida, and sister Anna (Dom) Lage of Easton and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford. Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
