Dolores M. Wiedwald, age 95, of Trumbull, passed away on October 23, 2024, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born in Bridgeport on September 24,1929, to the late John and Mildred (Molloy) Wiedwald, and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a retired executive secretary for Remington Rand.

Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great nephew and nieces.  She also enjoyed going to plays, concerts, and dining out.  Dolores loved music, her favorites being big band, the Rat Pack and Andrea Bocelli. She was a warm, fun-loving person, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her devoted nieces and nephews, Carole Maurati and her husband Quirino (Kory) of Milford, Stefanie Oliveira and her husband Carl of Rhode Island, Gerard Scheer and his wife Meredith of Trumbull, and Bradford and Leighton Perkins, great-nephew, Michael Maurati, and great-nieces, Melita Maurati and Olivia and Vivian Scheer. In addition to her parents, Dolores was pre-deceased by her brother, John Wiedwald and sisters, Carole Wiedwald and Janice Scheer, and brother-in-law Gerard Scheer Sr.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on October 30, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at Precious Blood Parish/St. Mary's 70 Gulf Street Milford. Inurnment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. The Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
