Dennis Andrew Paul Magera, 70 of Stratford, CT passed away on January 21, 2015 in Bridgeport, CT. Dennis was born on August 6, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Andrew and Mary Holzinger Magera. He attended Fairfield Preparatory High School and graduated in 1962. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairfield University and worked in finance and management for General Electric, Summagraphics, and West End Moving and Storage. Dennis took pride in his career and taking care of his family. He enjoyed golf, reading and spending time at the beach. Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years Sandra Magera, his daughter Beth Magera and her husband Robert Pascarell, his son Joshua Magera all of Stratford, CT, and his daughter Sarah Magera Connelly and her husband Matthew Connelly of Tempe, AZ; brother John Magera and his wife Amelia of Oxford, CT as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A period of remembrance and reflection will take place at 6:30p.m. in the funeral home.
