Dennis J. Dwyer Sr., age 72, of Stratford, beloved husband of Marsha Kaddo Dwyer, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Dwyer, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, was born in Bridgeport to the late Thomas and Evelyn Dwyer and has been a life long area resident. He was a retired installer for ATT. Dennis, an avid METS fan and collector of sports memorabilia, was a former coach for Stratford Original Little League, and was a WW II history enthusiast. Above all else he loved his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed attending their games and events. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, include his sons Dennis Dwyer Jr. and his wife Susan of Colorado, Christopher Dwyer and his wife Karen of Florida, Kevin Dwyer and his wife Alicia of Orange, and Matthew Dwyer and his wife Susan of Milford, 11 cherished grandchildren DJ, Frank, Daniel, Amanda, Makelia, Aaron, Nicholas, Kelly, Alaina, Marissa, and Bridget, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister Geraldine DaDonna of Trumbull, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother James Dwyer and a sister Patricia Wolfe. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 1st at 9:45 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
