Debbie Smajla, age 54, of Stratford, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 in her home. Debbie, a retired manager for Dunkin Donuts, was born in Croatia, beloved daughter of John and Milka (Cindric) Smajla, and has been a resident of the US since 1974. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved children, Timothy and Samantha Smajla, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 22nd at 8:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 9 a.m. in St. James Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 8-8:30 a.m.
