David Walter Miller, age 66 of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 in Hospice at the West Haven Veterans Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport on September 8, 1957 to Martha Gault Miller and the late Arthur E. Miller, he graduated from Bunnell High School. He was a talented athlete playing soccer, basketball, and baseball. Dave served his country in the US Navy from 1975-1979 working with Aircraft 86 stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a machinist at Paragon Medical in Bridgeport.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers Jeffrey Miller and wife Cheryl of Stratford and Daniel Miller of Shelton, a sister Mary Sotolongo of Stratford, nieces and nephews Trisha Farone and husband Joseph, Sean Miller and wife Victoria, Jeffery Jr., Breanna, and Brendan Miller, Elise, Seth, Shane, and Sidney Sotolongo, great nieces Ella and Madison Farone and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford Friday June 28, 2024 at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.
