David Halapin, age 87, of Trumbull, passed away on Sunday December 18, 2011 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Mr. Halapin, a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran of WW II was born in Bridgeport to the late John and Susan (Timko) Halapin and has been a life long area resident. He was a retired mechanic for the State of Connecticut. A sister and several nieces and nephews survive him. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 22, 2011 at 11 am in St. Theresa's Church Mains Street Trumbull. Inurnment with full military honors will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Funeral services have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
