David Anthony Goldstein, age 65, of Stratford, the beloved husband of Pamela McMerriman Goldstein, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on December 11, 1959, to Josephine Nardella Goldstein and the late Irving Goldstein, he was a graduate of Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield and attended both The Connecticut School of Electronics and The Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Afterwards he began a 38 year career with Omega Engineering as a sales representative often achieving the outstanding sales award for the quarter earning him the nickname, The Great One. David also traveled extensively for the company to several states and countries including Canada, England, China and Singapore.

Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela, his devoted son, David Patrick, his mother, Josephine, his sister, Karen Biondi (Charles), nephews, Brian Puente (Rimma) and Ryan Goldstein, a niece Gina Puente, along with several cousins and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, David, was predeceased by his brother, Robert Thomas Goldstein. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the Hartford Healthcare at Home staff, especially Brian who provided exceptional, compassionate care over the last 7 months.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.  The family will greet people from 10:15am - 10:45am prior to Mass directly at the front of the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name to St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford, CT 06614. The Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
