David P Evans, Jr., age 90, of Stratford, beloved husband of Nancy Frick Evans, passed away on April 5, 2025.  Dave was born in New York City on September 25, 1934.  He was a graduate of Central High School and The University of Bridgeport.   Dave was a veteran of the US Naval Reserves and operated David Evans Insurance Agency for many years.  Survivors in addition to his wife of 68 years, include his children, David Evans, III (Yvonne) and Nancy Hiriak (Stan) as well as his grandchildren, David Evans, IV, Hayleigh Evans, Christopher Hiriak, Stephanie Lund, Jeremy Hiriak and Alexandra Hudak.  Dave was predeceased by his daughter, Melinda and granddaughter, Taylor.  Visitation is on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 4-6 pm at the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.   Internment is at the convenience of the family.
