Darnell Mikhail Rhynie, age 33 of North Haven, passed away suddenly on September 23, 2022, in his home.

Darnell was born in Jamaica on November 17, 1988, the beloved son of Keith Rhynie and Jennifer Coleman. Darnell moved from Jamaica to the USA in 2005 to live with his father, stepmother, and sister. After attending Central High School for 1 year, he continued his studies at Fairfield University where he graduated with a Bachelor's in computer engineering and a Master's in electrical engineering. Darnell was employed by BHI Energy as a Design Engineer. He loved learning and constantly improving his education whenever he could. Darnell was a humble being and someone that was always willing to help people, and he did so with a smile. Darnell has often been described as a gentle soul and he was pure at heart.

Survivors include his beloved parents, Jennifer Coleman, Keith Rhynie, and stepmom Dyon Rhynie, his devoted sister, Keisha Rhynie, maternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation on Friday October 7th from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

There will be a prayer service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Jamaica.
