Daniel William Meeson, age 64, passed away suddenly in his home on September 11, 2024.

Dan was born in Summit, New Jersey to the late John Meeson Sr and Gail Spooner Meeson Elker.  Dan graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport with a B.S. in Computer Science. He was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi. He worked at VSR Systems for many years as a programmer and customer support engineer.

Dan enjoyed flying and had his private pilot's license, having owned a Piper Cherokee for several years.  He also enjoyed sailing, in particular competitive sailing on Long Island Sound. He was a real movie buff, and was a registered film projectionist, a job he thoroughly enjoyed.

Dan is survived by his wife, Suzanne Dorothy Lampe and his stepson, Brian Lampe.  He is also survived by his brother, John Meeson and his wife, Dawn of Trumbull and their sons Eric Meeson, and his wife Bonnie of Orange, and Kevin Meeson of NYC, and a close friend Cheryl Thompson and her family.

There will be a memorial service on November 9th   at 2:00 at Orange Congregational Church, 205 Meetinghouse Lane, Orange CT.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
