– Czeslawa (Jessie) Nerkowski Fusco age 85 of Stratford passed away on Monday September 19, 2005in Bridgeport Hospital. Mrs. Fusco, a homemaker was born in Bridgeport to the late Frank and Leonora (Lemanski) Nerkowski and has been a life long area resident. She was the widow of Louis Fusco. Survivors include her beloved children. Leona Fusco of Stratford, Louis Fusco and his wife Ellen of Hartland, WI, Michael Fusco and his wife Deborah of Millis, MA, 3 grandchildren Erin, Jillian and Ashley Fusco, 2 sisters Genevieve Humenick and her husband Peter of Stratford and Jayne Vitko of Florida, 2 sisters-in-law Irene Nerkowski of Monroe and Natalie Fusco of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 3 brothers Leon, Edward and Frank Nerkowski. Funeral services will take place on Friday September 23rd at 11:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford and at 12 noon in Our Lady of Grace Church Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-6 p.m.
