Charles was born in Bridgeport, the son of World War I veteran and pharmacist, Charles Francis Wilkerson and Willa Warner Wilkerson. His family was lifelong residents of Bridgeport, CT. Wilkerson, his wife Susan and two adored grandchildren, Nora and Ryan of Fairfield, CT, sister, Rita Wilkerson Mihalko of Milford, CT., and brother in-law Alfred Lyon of Kingman Arizona. His love of family, playing with his grandchildren, all those times 'holding court' in the backyard, his "two stroke" pool, and all the stories told will be missed so much. He was a great friend to all. We will all miss our "Poppy" dearly. Friends may greet family on Monday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00pm in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A wake service will be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home with Rev Thomas Lynch officiating.
