Charles P. Slosar, age 83, of Bridgeport, passed away on September 21, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital.

Charlie was born in Bridgeport on January 22, 1941, to the late Charles and Parry (Zowidowski) Slosar and had been a lifelong area resident. He retired from the City of Bridgeport Department of Public Works. Charlie was an avid BINGO player and enjoyed his trips to Mohegan Sun Casino. He also loved spending time at Duchess in Bridgeport, hanging out in his van "The Gambler".

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charlie was pre-deceased by his sisters. Audrey Barthel and Carol Butz and her husband Jerry.

Graveside services will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road Trumbull. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
