Charles (Charlie) S. Parniawski, age 84, of Trumbull, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Sun City Center, Florida "his happy place", with his beloved wife, Karen and daughter, Ann Savo by his side. Charlie born in Milford to the late Stanley and Anna E. Sapitowicz Parniawski. He was predeceased by 3 sisters, Betty, Virginia and Mildred and a brother, Stanley. Charlie worked for the New Haven Regional Water Authority as a Field Service Representative for 44 years. He was the VP of the United Steel Workers Union Local #12160 before his retirement in 2000. Charlie was a life member of the Milford Elks Lodge, where he did a lot of fundraising for the community and also for The Newington Children's Hospital.  He spent endless hours making Christmas wreaths to raise money and spread Christmas cheer. He was an avid gardener and loved to travel with his wife. Charlie was a big supporter of Trumbull Helps and coached little league and softball for his kids as he was a dedicated father. He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Karen Brower Parniawski, son, Charles (Suzanne) of Orange and granddaughters, Elizabeth, Kimberly and Dorothy, daughter Ann Savo (Bob) of Trumbull and grandson Robert and his Fiancé Rebekah O'Connell, his best friend, John Gormley, Lorraine Larocca and Maria Larocca who he thought of as a daughter and granddaughter. Charlie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, December 19 ^th , from 1-4 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
