Charlene Herman DaMato, age 67 of Stratford passed away on Monday June 16, 2008 in her home. Mrs. DaMato, a homemaker was born in Norwalk to the late Stephen and Mildred (Chelifou) Herman and has been along time area resident. Survivors include her beloved husband of 49 years Vincent DaMato, 4 devoted children Vincent DaMato of Milford, Debbie Zalewski and her husband Tim of North Haven, Dennis DaMato and his wife Christine of Oxford and Wayne DaMato of Stratford, 7 cherished grandchildren April and David Zalewski, Michael, Vincent, Nicole, Haley and Nicholas DaMato, 2 great-grandchildren Ariana and Jonathon, a brother Robert Herman of Danbury and 2 sisters Barbara DeRosa of Norwalk and Sharon Jalbert of Stratford and several nieces and nephews.
