Cecilia Lutheran Daniel, age 97, of Bridgeport, the beloved widow of Joseph P Daniel, passed away on Tuesday February 27, 2023, in Fort Pierce, FL, at her loving granddaughter's home.
Born in Granville, NY on July 29, 1925, daughter of the late John & Mary (Chatlos) Lutheran. Ceil graduated from Granville High School, before traveling to Bridgeport CT at the age of 18 to work in the war effort, working first for GE. She met her husband, settled in Bridgeport, before moving to Milford, where she raised her family.

Ceil worked in manufacturing most of her life working and retiring after many years from Schick Razor. She was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. Her gentle warm heart made you feel loved whenever you were in her presence.  She loved her family deeply and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her greatest joy!

She is survived by her 2 devoted daughters Monica Rogers, and Helen Quill both of Milford, 10 cherished grandchildren and 14 cherished great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by 6 brothers Steve, Rev. Joseph, Charles, John, Paul and Phil, 4 sisters Helen, Mary, Pauline and Margie, her son Joseph S Daniel and daughter Cecilia "Cookie" Tammany. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday March 30th at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Milford. At the family's request calling hours have been omitted.
