Carol Ann Graze, age 75, of Ruskin, Florida, formerly of Bridgeport, CT passed away on Christmas day, December 25, 2020, in Southbay Hospital, Sun City, Florida. Carol was born in Bridgeport on July 9, 1945 to the late Edward and Alice (McCarthy) DeSantis and was a West Haven resident for 30 years before moving back to Bridgeport and finally moving to Florida in 2006. She was a graduate of Central High School and was retired from Home Depot in Ruskin, Florida. She was a loving devoted mother and grandmother with an infectious smile and a wonderful sense of humor.  She loved spending time with family and cooking.  She was predeceased by her brother Edward DeSantis.  Survivors include her daughters, Wendy Graze of Florida and Cindy Tortora (Graze) and her husband Michael of Sandy Hook, CT; her brother James DeSantis of New York; her sister Philomena DiCarlo and her husband Thomas of Florida; 3 grandchildren Payton, Charlie and Christopher Tortora; several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will take place on January 4th 2021 at 11 a.m. meeting directly at St. Michael's Cemetery 2205 Stratford Avenue.  Everyone in attendance must follow the COVID 19 guidelines, wear a mask and practice social distancing.
