Carminda Rodrigues Pereira age 69 of Stratford entered into eternal rest on Monday May 11, 2009 in St. Vincent's Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Joao and Alzira Rodrigues and has been a long time area resident. Survivors include her husband Domingos Afonso Pereira, daughters Lisa, Teresa, Maria and Judite, sons Orlando and Daniel, grandchildren Leena, Myla, Briana and Justin, siblings Jose Rodrigues of Monroe, Celeste Esteves of Shelton, Albino Rodrigues of Milford, Alberto Rodrigues of Easton, Joao Rodrigues of Florida, and Berta Chapman of Bridgeport as well as many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers Delfim Rodrigues and Mario Simoes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 15th at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church Noble Avenue Bridgeport. Entombment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. Calling hours on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
