Carmen leaves behind a loving sister, Barbara England, and cherished in-laws, James and Janice McGuire, Kathy and Dave Gosart, Robert and Cyndi McGuire and Richard Archick, many nieces, nephews, grand- nieces and nephews and cousins. Stonybrook supported many athletic teams, most notably the Stonybrook J.A.W.S men's softball team. He was inducted into the CASA Softball Hall of Fame.

Carmen ended his working career at ABCO Welding in Stratford where he was proud to drive supplies of welding equipment to NYC in the days following 9/11. He enjoyed a lifetime “tinkering” with his cars and his award winning 3 wheeled motorcycle. Carmen was an "on the go” guy. He spent Autunm’s hunting with his brother and nephews, winter snowmobiling with his sons- in- law in the northeast and Canada and summer on his boat or jet ski with his grandchildren in Otis, MA. Carmen loved to attend his grandchildren’s youth sporting events, play endless games of Go Fish with Arthur or simply snuggling with Daphne.
