Carmela P. Crisanti, age 91, of Waterbury, formerly of Stratford, beloved wife of the late George Crisanti, passed away at Valerie Manor in Torrington on February 13, 2023.

Carmela was born in Bridgeport on April 8, 1931, to the late Louis and Eleanor (Mazzone) Piantedosi and had been a longtime area resident. She was retired from Wells Fargo Bank. Survivors include her devoted sons, Michael Crisanti and his wife Virginia of Florida, Gary Crisanti of Torrington, and George Crisanti and his wife Catherine of Prospect, cherished grandchildren, Erin Crisanti LeBlanc and her husband Michael LeBlanc, Matthew Crisanti, and Lauren Crisanti, Shahbeila Brown and her husband Shayne, great-grandchildren, Aurora, Morrigan, Rebekah, and Robert Brown, sister, Lena Catapano, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 21 ^st at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Entombment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home- Stratford.
