Brian F. Cody, age 71, of Stratford, passed away on Saturday December 3, 2011 in his home. Brian, a Peacetime veteran of the U.S. Navy was born in Bridgeport to the late Francis and Viola (Connelly) Cody and has been a life long area resident. He was a retired detective for the Town of Stratford, and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. Survivors include his devoted children Brian C. Cody, and Colleen Procyk and her husband Peter, and their mother Carol Palutis Cody, 2 cherished granddaughters Ella and Ava, a sister Janet Cody all of Stratford and a nephew Duane Cody. Funeral services will take place on Thursday December 8th at 11 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with Rev. John Stronkowski officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
