Billy Larkin Evers, age 49, passed away suddenly but peacefully on January 1, 2026, with his beloved dog and best friend, Brody, by his side.

He was a proud and devoted father to his children, Keaton and Highland Evers, who were truly the center of his world.

Billy was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on September 9, 1976. A proud athlete, he played football (#47) for Bunnell High School and went on to become a Connecticut State Champion wrestler. Billy had a deep love for football, both on and off the field, and found great joy in coaching and mentoring others. He was equally at home on the slopes, where he embraced the thrill and freedom of skiing. For 19 years, Billy dedicated himself to his work at Sikorsky Aircraft on the Black Hawk line, taking pride in craftsmanship and teamwork. For the past two years, Brody, his dog, has brought him so much love, joy, and pure happiness.

Billy shared his life with Anusha Subashini a loyal partner whose presence and love were profoundly important to him.

Billy is the son of John and Debbie Evers of Surfside Beach, South Carolina. A loving brother to Jacqueline (Evers) and Ronald Comers, Jill (Evers) and Michael Laskowski, Jamie (Evers) and Kip Kiser, and Bryan and Joy Evers.

He is the grandson of Marion and the late William Greenberger and the late Edwin and Agnes Evers. He is a cherished Uncle to Jack, Kaycelyn, Ryan, Cameron, Timothy, Justin, Mitchell, Eli, Samuel, Allyson, Layla, Hope and Isaac.

Billy will be remembered for his love for Jesus, incredible laugh and smile, his amazing heart, and ability to love unconditionally.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7 from 4-7 at Adzima Funeral Home, Paradise Green, Stratford, Connecticut, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
