Beverly Hains McCormick, age 86, of Stratford, widow of Vance McCormick, passed away on Sunday October 30, 2011 in Ludlowe HCC, Fairfield. Mrs. McCormick, a retired payroll clerk for General Electric, was born in Bridgeport to the late Clarence and Lillian (Plude) Hains and has been a life long area resident. Survivors include her nieces Cherie Saracino and her husband Allie of Shelton, and Sharon Cairns of Trumbull, great nieces and nephews Frederick Cairns, Jennifer Moreira, Lori Nuzzo, and Daryl Smith, and several great-great- nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents she was pre-deceased by her sister Imelda "Pete" Cairns, a nephews Frederick Cairns, and a great-great nephew Joshua Nuzzo. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 4th at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford. Inurnment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
