Bertha Duzak Valko, age 94, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late William J. Valko, passed away on April 22, 2018 in Bridgeport Hospital. Bertha was born in Bridgeport on February 27, 1924 to the late Karol and Anna (Kozarzik) Duzak and has been a life long area resident. Survivors include her devoted children, Sandra Erdos and her husband John Coletsos of Trumbull and William Valko of Stratford, 3 grandchildren, Michael Erdos, Jeffrey Erdos and his wife Dawn, and Stephanie Muscanera and her husband Michael, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, Bertha was pre-deceased by her granddaughter, Lisa Erdos. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 25 ^th at 11:30 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet her family on Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
